Understanding the Commandments
The Ten Commandments represent God's moral law—His design for how we should live in right relationship with Him and with one another. Given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai, they are recorded in Exodus 20.
First 4 Commandments
These address our relationship with God—worshipping Him alone, respecting His name, and setting aside time for Him.
Last 6 Commandments
These address our relationships with others—respecting parents, protecting life, and living with integrity and honesty.
